For easy e-mail access, click onto the desired staff member below: John Gonzalez: President, Senior Project ManagerJohn has been in the construction industry for all of his working career. He has been in the drywall industry since 1983 and had over 8 years experience as a drywall foreman prior to founding I.C.R. in 1992. His significant talent and experience in detailed planning and job control have been a major factor in the company’s success. John takes overall responsibility for project management, supervision of foremen, hiring, and purchasing of materials and equipment. Tom Bond: Vice President, Project ExecutivePrior to co-founding I.C.R., Tom worked as a union drywall carpenter on all types of drywall construction for over five years. His training and experience both on the job and through the union, have been a substantial benefit in forming and running I.C.R.. His entrepreneurial talents have aided in the significant company growth of the past ten years. Tom has responsibility for all new business bidding, negotiating and contracting; financial and office operations; union relations and reporting; and on-going general contractor interactions. Monica Bond: Office ManagerMonica has been with I.C.R. for over five years. She has had college training in accounting as well as working experience with all accounting functions at companies including Speen Distribution, Xerox Imaging, and DeMoulas Markets. Monica is in charge of day-to-day accounting functions, human resource management, and general office operations. Phil Torres: Senior Project EstimatorPrior to joining I.C.R. in 1993, Phil had over 8 years experience in the field as a carpenter foreman on many different types of construction projects. His attention to detail and knowledge of the drywall building processes serves him well in developing cost estimates for new projects. Phil is responsible for developing cost estimates for all new jobs and changes to existing work. He is also currently working on the development of the I.C.R. computerized estimating database containing all parts, assemblies and labor used in drywall construction. When complete, it will standardize and automate much of the estimating process so costs can be tracked, compared to actual, and refined. Bob Demeris: Project ManagerBob brings over 30 years of construction experience to his position. Prior to joining the company two years ago, Bob worked as a foreman on many different types of construction projects including Boston’s “Big Dig”. Before moving to his current position as Project Manager, he was an I.C.R. foreman. Bob has over five years of union experience which is helpful in advising on union affairs for the company. He is responsible for managing assigned I.C.R. projects – including materials purchasing, foreman supervision, and job profitability. With his extensive field experience and training, he acts as the I.C.R. safety officer. Management AdvisorsI.C.R. has retained the specialized services of professional organizations to supplement its full time management team. These advisors meet with I.C.R. management to review financial results, evaluate company performance, discuss management issues, and advise on various business issues.
